General information that is often asked.
Public Information is information that is generated, stored, managed, sent, and/or received by a public agency relating to state administrators and administration and/or organizers and administration of other public bodies in accordance with laws and regulations and other information
Information and Documentation Management Officer, hereinafter referred to as PPID, is an official who is responsible for storing, documenting, providing and/or providing information services in a Public Agency.
Every Indonesian citizen and/or legal entity as stipulated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure.
Information requests can come directly to the PPID SIG Public Information Service Room to fill out an information request form, and/or submit an application via the https://page www.sig.id/ppid by filling out the information request form.
Responses from the PPID will be submitted no later than 10 (ten) working days after the request for information has met the requirements and can be extended for the next 7 (seven) working days.
According to the law in force all information can be obtained except those that are exempt.
Public Information that cannot be provided by a Public Agency consists of:
- Information that can harm the country;
- Information relating to the interests of business protection from unfair business competition;
- Information relating to personal rights;
- Information relating to job secrets;
- The information requested has not been mastered or documented; and/or
- Public Information that is excluded under the provisions of the law.
