SIG is committed to reducing CO2 emissions per tonne of cement and helping people achieve a sustainable life. By 2030, SIG is committed to reducing 27% CO2 emissions per ton of cement equivalent compared to 2010.

To achieve this, we set several initiatives in our operational activities. These include reducing the clinker factor, replacing fossil fuels with biomass and other renewable fuels in the cement production process, increasing energy efficiency, and using renewable electricity by installing solar panels and utilizing Waste Heat Recovery Power Generation (WHRPG) technology. .

The following is our Decarbonization Roadmap

Meanwhile, to help the community, we provide low-carbon cement that has received Green Label Cement from the Green Product Council Indonesia, and to help our customers avoid CO2 emissions, we provide fast setting concrete i>. Fast setting concrete or SpeedCrete can reduce the very long time in road construction thereby significantly reducing traffic congestion and ultimately reducing vehicle combustion emissions.

Energy Management

In addition to using alternative fuels, we regularly conduct energy audits, both by the internal SIG team and third parties. We also implement ISO5001.

Air Quality and Emission Management

To ensure that our operations do not harm the environment and society, we equip our cement plants with Air Pollution Control Devices and continuously monitor our air emissions in real time. We have also received ISO 14001 Environmental Management system certification.
