SIG's President Director, Donny Arsal, said that this retailer financing collaboration was a continuation of previous collaborations with Himbara Banks, namely BNI, BRI and Bank Mandiri, which had already done financing for 306 SIG distributor networks. Furthermore, this retailer financing facility is provided for 70,000 GIS network building stores spread across all regions in Indonesia.

"The collaboration between GIS and financial institution partners and technology is expected to provide added value for each party and support supply chain digitization and the continuity of the GIS network retailer business," said Donny Arsal.

Bank Mandiri Director of Corporate Banking Susana Indah K. Indriati explained that the collaboration agreed today is a form of BUMN synergy and a shared commitment to the digitalization process, both in the financial and operational aspects of GIS, as well as supporting the development of the micro business segment in the retailer network or building stores. GIS.

“GIS and Bank Mandiri have worked together to accelerate the digitalization transformation of business processes, both in terms of financial and operational transactions, which will have an impact on cost efficiency and GIS business development. One of the initiatives that we have worked on together since 2021 is by providing financing solutions to GIS building shop partners, in the KUR, eBiz, and KUM-TP financing schemes through the AccessToko platform. With the support we provide to GIS retailers in the form of financing solutions, transactions, and financial services, we hope to support the transformation towards a cashless society so that business processes are more efficient and optimal," said Susana Indah K. Indriati.

BRI's Director of Wholesale and Institutional Business, Agus Noorsanto said, this collaboration with GIS is a reflection of BRI's ability to meet retail financing needs formed from the Value Chain Ecosystem through BRI's CBM platform for the MSME segment. “This collaboration is also a reflection of investor confidence in BRI for its services and financing experience. BRI is ready to facilitate the best services for retail financing," he said.

Director of Network & Services BNI, Ronny Venir explained, the synergy carried out today is a form of BNI's seriousness in working on the Value Chain in the GIS supply chain ecosystem. Currently BNI has provided an integrated digital value chain solution for empowering and increasing the capacity of distributors who are the first layer of the corporate through digital-based Supply Chain Financing (SCF).

"In the future, the synergy that will be carried out will be expanded by working on the potential of second layer partners in the GIS supply chain, namely retailer partners (building material stores). The facilities offered are using BNI Wirausaha and KUR products that can be accessed through the GIS digital platform, namely Toko Access which is integrated with BNI's digital Value Chain platform, namely BNI Move and BNI FSCM," said Ronny Venir.

President Director of Telkomsel, Hendri Mulya Syam, said, "Telkomsel appreciates GIS efforts to carry out transformations in strengthening company operations which will contribute to Indonesia's Industry 4.0 roadmap. As a leading digital telco and part of the BUMN TelkomGroup, Telkomsel is ready to support this step through various advantages of innovative digital solutions that are owned in the Telkomsel business ecosystem. We hope that this step will continue to open up more opportunities for advancement for the two companies, as well as strengthen collaboration across SOEs.

LinkAja's Chief Operating Officer, Widjayanto said, this strategic collaboration is a form of LinkAja's commitment to increase digital financial inclusion through collaboration with various partners, especially collaboration with state-owned companies. One of the efforts is to digitize the supply chain of its ecosystem through the provision of financial services, from payments to financing. LinkAja has digitized hundreds of thousands of pulse shops in Telkomsel's traditional ecosystem, as well as digitizing it to other strategic partners.

“We will also replicate this supply chain digitalization into traditional ecosystems in GIS networks throughout Indonesia. With this collaboration, it is hoped that GIS building store partners will get benefits such as increased sales, simplifying cash handling, enabling partners to get cashless payments from consumers, buyers and customers, to be able to monitor their business performance," said Widjayanto.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of SOEs II, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo appreciated the cooperation of the 6 SOEs, which are expected to reach more distributors and retailers throughout Indonesia to take advantage of financing and digital facilities. Currently, economic growth at the grassroots level is quite significant. Through digital facilities, Telkomsel can connect and reach villages to the outermost areas to provide financial services through Himbara. "This is an extraordinary economic transformation, making Indonesia a digital-connected country and financing facilities down to the village level. In today's context, we hope that the demand for cement will shift from urban areas, in the future the demand from subsidized houses and individual houses will be even greater. Therefore, it is important for GIS to build an ecosystem from national to distributor to retailer so that more retailers have the ability to contribute to providing inventory to reach all cement users in Indonesia. I think this is a good breakthrough. We hope that this collaboration will benefit Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI, Telkomsel, LinkAja and of course GIS, especially for distributors and retailers," said Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.
