The role of clean water in maintaining a healthy environment is irreplaceable. As an effort to maintain it, we carry out various water conservation programs. Our strategy is to reduce specific freshwater withdrawal, increase water circulation, and increase rainwater storage capacity.
We are turning the former mining area into an education, tourism and plantation area. Post-mining clay land is converted into a water reservoir that is used by the community for fish farming and irrigation of agricultural land. Accumulatively, we have reclaimed a total of 680.77 Ha of land in 2020.
We are restoring ex-mining areas by replanting various trees to create biodiversity. In addition to making the former mining area a green belt, we are trying to form a green area which also marks the buffer zone around the factory.
