Circular Economy
Industrial waste can damage the environment with fatal consequences. That's why we help provide solutions by treating and reusing appropriate industrial waste, as well as sorted municipal waste into alternative fuels and materials.
Some of the alternative raw materials we use include bottom ash, fly ash, dust EAF, steel slag, paper sludge, while the alternative fuels we use include Contaminated of Carbon Soil (COCS), drilling cutting and many more. We will continue to increase the use of alternative fuels and materials every year.
This circular economy initiative provides benefits, among others, helping other industries in overcoming waste problems and for the cement industry, processing waste into alternative fuels and materials will be able to reduce the use of fuels and non-renewable raw materials derived from nature.

Creating comprehensive and effective waste management is our priority. Specifically for B3 waste (hazardous and toxic materials), we process it into alternative fuels according to a permit from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).

We are committed to reducing GHG and other emissions (such as dust, SOx, NOx) that occur due to our operational activities. By 2021 we have managed to reduce our specific carbon emissions (scope 1) by 16% compared to 2010.
